Terrace board Thermory thermo ash D4sg2
Thermory ash is the highest grade of wood. Thermory ash decking is completely weatherproof and therefore does not require impregnation.
Thermory thermo ash wood decking boards are:
- dimensionally stable (much less prone to warping)
- without knots, with a nice texture
- original chocolate color achieved throughout the entire cross-section. The color is obtained through a thermo-modification process.
- resistant to mold, mildew, fungus, etc. - does not require impregnation or protection
- is classified as class 1, i.e. 25 years +, this is the highest durability class!
- suitable for flush mounting
Thermory thermo ash decking boards with D4sg2 profile have side mounting grooves that make them suitable for concealed installation with mounting clips. Concealed installation further extends the service life of the boards as they are not damaged by screws. Concealed installation also increases the visual appeal and safety of the flooring.
Non-oiled planks patina beautifully to a silver color and require no maintenance. Those who want to maintain the original chocolate color of the wood can maintain it with Thermory Dark Oil
The standard thickness of ash planks on the market is typically 2.5-3.8 cm (1-1.5 in) and is a popular choice. This thickness provides sufficient strength and durability for most applications and is also more affordable.
If you plan to place heavy garden furniture, barbecues or other heavy items on your patio, it's worth looking at thicker boards - they are more stable and stronger, which protects them from warping and damage under load.
